NEW NAME, SAME MISSION

LitFest Pasadena began in 2012 and over the years has grown into a large, well attended community literary festival.

In 2022, the organization branched out from its original hub of Pasadena and had LitFest events at the Altadena Library and Mountain View Mausoleum. This year all events are in Altadena - and it was time to rebrand. So, the event is now called LitFest in the Dena. Same mission, new name!

Every year the goal is to become more diverse, more creative, more challenging, and increasingly engaging. Oh, and fun!

LitFest in the Dena focuses on writers, the power of the written word, and how literature manifests change in our world, our communities and ourselves. This year, we look at how some books do this head-on, some explore how we handle change, and others unsettle and challenge us by presenting a new or unfamiliar point of view.

Featured authors include: Amanda Andrei, Aubry Kaplan, Rosecrans Baldwin, Anne Louise Bannon, Chris Baron, Eric Beetner, Xochitl-Julisa Bermejo, Paula Bernstein, Bridgette Bianca, Kara Billey, Julia Bricklin, Diane Marie Brown, F.
