About the author: Writer, Actor, Storyteller, & Podcaster JAIME PARKER STICKLE is from a small suburb of Detroit,Michigan. After working at local Detroit TV news stations, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue TV and film writing and acting. She attended programs at the Upright Citizens Brigade and Groundlings, graduated from the Second City writing program, and received her M.F.A. from University of California, Riverside.
Jaime started storytelling workshops for other artists as well as the Make That Paper podcast, which focuses on discussing the side-hustles and day jobs artists work to support themselves while being artists.
She writes novels with strong female protagonists. Her current heroine is Corey Tracy-Lieberman, loosely based on herself. Jaime is also working on stories of real women who were victims of heinous crimes and has created a new investigative true crime podcast, The Girls with the Same Name. Book 2 of the Corey series, Take Hart, is scheduled to release in August, 2026.
Tarra Stevenson teaches English at Westridge School, Pasadena, and is the co-director of their Writing Center. She also teaches in the English department at Los Angeles City College. She received her M.F.A. from University of California, Riverside, M.A .from Loyola Marymount University, and B.A. from University of California, Davis.
