THE GUIDE TO PALAS by Ann Bernath (science fiction prequel to ROCK. PEBBLE. STONE.): Savannah Jones immerses herself in a virtual world to escape her tech-obsessed society stratified by access status. Will she choose to abandon technology and her limited status to travel to a real, tech-free world, even when it means leaving behind her adopted family and a mysterious new love interest?

Southern California native Ann Bernath has been writing since the age of 6, inspired by the "Author! Author!" episode of "The Patty Duke Show." In 2023, two of her short stories were included in the TechLit anthology Inner Space and Space and Outer Thoughts: Speculative Fiction from Caltech and JPL Authors. Ann writes genre fiction - westerns and sci-fi/fantasy in particular. She has a fantasy novel in progress.

SELL, SELL, SELL! Lessons Learned from a Successful
Lifetime in Sales (Business Memoir) by David D’Orazi: D'Orazi hails from the Los Angeles suburb of Eagle Rock where his sales journey began at the age of seven. Inspired by his father, Tony D’Orazi—a legendary salesman—David embraced sales as his true calling in his 30s. For his book, David drew from four decades of journal entries, field experience, and lessons learned to share real stories and the mindset that helped him stay in the top 5% of sales performers everywhere he has worked. By passing along the principles that have guided his success, he hopes to positively impact the lives of those who read SELL, SELL, SELL!

David D’Orazi received his MBA from California State University, Los Angeles.

TRAVELS WITH SPOT- ROME TO BARCELONA (Travel Memoir) by Parker Emerson: Parker, a.k.a. Spot, pursues another adventure following his first book PARIS TO ZURICH. This time, in ROME TO BARCELONA, he stops in Florence, Monaco, Montpellier, and Marseille. Take a ride with him through the Florentine countryside in a classic Nuovo 500 Fiat, and buy olive oil in Lucca. Be awed by Leonardo’s inventions in the museum in Vinci. Wander the gardens of the Rothschild’s villa overlooking the Mediterranean. Ponder the history of Marseille. Be dazzled by recovered
frescoes, the Sagrada Familia and more.

Parker Emerson acquired the nickname “Spot” as the navigation center supervisor on a nuclear missile submarine. He has a B.S. in business administration from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA. After he moved to California he worked in the aerospace industry and earned his MBA from the University of Southern California. Now retired, he and his wife enjoy traveling and writing about their adventures.
