an environmental tale of love under the sea, told in verse

Welcome to the lonely life of Pontus. He believes he is the only great white shark in his underwater world.

Welcome to the lonely life of the shark Electra. She believes she will never find comfort again, after her mother was snatched from the waters.

But they find each other and discover new meaning in their lives...while living with existential dread caused by humanity.

As unconventional as it is captivating, this book is both a romance and a tragedy told in poetry. It is a testament to the terrors of our habitats, a story of true love outside human norms, and stands out as a book every person who cares about the environment should experience at least once.

Heartwarming, beautiful, and uniquely devastating—an environmental tale of love under the sea, told in verse. (ages 12-18)
