We are open for in-store shopping, but our featured guests will be set up outside this year with COVID-19 protocols in place. Caveat: The event will be held weather and COVID permitting.

LARISSA THEULE, A Way with Wild Things: This poetic story celebrates the shy and introverted kids among us, as well as other small creatures to be found if we look closely enough (ages 3-6); and Born to Ride: A Story About Bicycle Face: One girl’s courageous quest proves that she can do everything boys can do. This book also captures the universal freedom and accomplishment children experience when riding a bike. (ages 4-8)

Later, as AMTRAK writer-in-residence, he traveled the nation and made poetry converts from all walks of life. These are their stories.
